Nebraska, July 25 – 26, 2010

I drove south to north up the length of Nebraska today, from Hiawatha, KS to Ponca in the northeast corner of Nebraska. I drove along a beautiful Highway, 75, that almost parallels the Missouri River and Iowa border. I drove through acres and acres of beautiful farmland, rolling fields filled with corn and other crops. Some of the fields had a few clusters of huge trees here and there. It was by far the most beautiful farmland I’ve ever seen.

I drove through the Omaha and Winnebago Indian reservations. From one of the scenic stops on Highway 75 there’s a great view of the “Mighty Mo,” the Missouri River.
